Paris Fashion Week always amazes the public with the most extravagant creations made by designers and seen on the catwalk. Among all the style we have seen, there are very different proposals.
Below some of the most beautiful footwear presented during the event.
SACAI
Sacai presented shoes featuring chains, a very popular details in autumn 2020. This brand was not the only one to present the chains as a precious and decorative element of the shoes, but certainly these shoes were among the most beautiful ones we saw on the catwalk. In particular, what most caught our attention was a refined leather knee-high boot, refined and with an elegant style.
VALENTINO
Boots were one of the items most present on the catwalk, however a boot like Valentino’s had not yet been seen. They are elegant and refined but at the same time combat boots, whose dark green colour suprised everyone for the particularity of the choice.
AZZEDINE ALAÏA
The iconic Alaia studs and prints have been used in a simpler way than usual. We find in fact more masculine shapes like brogue shoes and very simple boots. We have seen, for example, a simple boot embellished with some very small studs staying true to the brands identity.
HERMÈS
Hermès has tried to transform winter into chic. We therefore saw a winter lace-up boot in brown suede lined in shearling. Emphasis was placed on key details fabricated in black leather.
CHLOÉ
This brand presented a collection characterized by a masculine touch that cannot go unnoticed. In this sense we see a moccasin with a very low heel and characterized by double strap. Natacha Ramsay-Levi also created a smart workwear collection, very chic shoes, whose colors blend perfectly with autumn. The brown component is therefore very present.
STELLA McCARTNEY
The brand in question wanted to bring an eco-conscious product to the catwalk. It is a boot characterized by natural rubber and macadamia wood. Respect for the environment is an increasingly present theme in fashion shows and therefore we will find it with all probability also in the future.
FAR
Far has brought on the catwalk trendy leather loafers characterized by a very simple and gold-colored chain that can be detached when you prefer it. As we said before, chains are an increasingly present and therefore extremely fashionable detail.
VAN NOTEN
The extravagant platforms of Van Noten are not a mystery. However in this event, they were able to impress once again with the color palette of each season. This time we saw knee high boots, dark in color and with sequins.
CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN
The designer is known by his fans for works characterized by platforms. In his Fall 2020 collection, the stylist is distinguished by a rounded style, on a platform reminiscent of a pedestal and characterized by a buckle positioned on the ankle.
ROGER VIVIER
While most of the designers chose to bring on the catwalk models characterized by neutral colors, this stylist has distinguished himself from all the others with extravagant solutions: bright colors, feathers, chamois and crystal decorations. An example of this style is represented by black satin boots with a very showy pink bow placed on the calf.
These were the finest footwear from the fall 2020 collection, we are waiting to find out what will be reserved for the next Paris Fashion Week.
